On May 2nd, something beautiful unfolded in Philadelphia.
More than 170 people came together—not simply for an event, but as a living expression of what it means to be the Church. Friends, volunteers, donors, and new faces filled the room, each one bringing with them a shared commitment to love and serve our neighbors in need.
It was an evening marked by joy, connection, and a renewed sense of purpose.
Together, you helped raise $37,000 in support of FOCUS Philadelphia. This generosity will go directly toward sustaining and growing the work of the Center—ensuring that meals are served, relationships are built, and every person served is met with dignity and care.
But what stood out most wasn’t just the number.
It was the reminder that this work is deeply personal. It lives in the conversations shared across tables, in the relationships formed over time, and in the quiet, consistent presence that defines the ministry of FOCUS Philadelphia.
During the evening, we premiered a new video capturing that very spirit. It offers a window into the daily life of the Center—the people, the stories, and the encounters that make this work so meaningful. We’re grateful to be able to share it with you now, and we hope it gives you a deeper glimpse into what your support makes possible.
