FOCUS Detroit is partnering with Oasis of Hope Christian Church and Living Waters CDC to work at the Garden of Hope.

The Garden of Hope was started by Danielle May to engage the parish in bringing fresh produce to the neighborhood and congregation. FOCUS Detroit has aided in building many of the raised beds on the two garden plots. The harvested produce is also used during the twice-monthly hot meal ministry.

Throughout the summer, FOCUS Detroit will be working to help maintain the garden (planting, watering, and weeding), build cages to go around the raised beds to prevent the neighborhood rabbits to snack on the produce), and build a pavilion for volunteers.
